Her eyes were narrowed as she tore through the skies, her mind working through many things. Stupid Christian. Stupid, stupid boy. Though she could admit she didn't know her nephew all that well, she did know enough to realize that his seeking of Power could only turn bad. Look at her. Worked real fuckin' great for her didn't it. The wind would tear a low growl from her mouth as she rushed towards the Grove, towards 'home'. Yes.. she still called it that. Truthfully it was the only place she could go that held..something. Something to call her back again and again. This time it was a sister.
Cass' appearence meant only one thing. It was time to get it on. Faith had felt nothing from Hope, but then, that wasn't so unusual was it? Hope had her own life, her precious husband, her little War. Not a glimmer from the six-winged bug. Not even a fucking card. Bitch. But Cass was back, and it was obvious her sister was the same. A better Bitch then Hope would ever be.
She felt the pull of the Grove before she even saw it, before it broke the horizon and her wings tipped to ease her forth and down. To plummet towards the earth, jade hues catching sight of her Oak straining eagerly towards the heavens. Oh indeed, still very much alive. Boots met the ground, her wings flitting as the settled easily to her back, slender fingers sweeping through her raven locks to clear her vision as she gazed around. a sly smile curled her lips, making her way to her tree, purring low.
" Did mean old Cass hurt you baby? Got her though didn't you. M'hmm. Teach her to fuck with the bull, she'll get the horns.."
She was still keeping a sharp eye out, knowing Cass was near. Feeling her, her smell still lingering in the grass. She knew Cass was even less humor filled then she, so it wasn't like her sister was going to pounce her from the dark. But she knew Cass well enough to know the hag was hiding somewhere. Being all sneaky. A derisive snort came from her as she leaned against the mighty oak, arms crossing over her chest, studying her nails in a bored fashion.
" K...so I know you're here. Let's get this thing going. I know why you're back...dear old dad is home. The sooner we deal with the old coot the sooner you can go back to playing house with your little boyfriend. Let's go!"

Funny how she had timed her arrival back ‘home’ to coincide with Moon’s return? Some may have deemed it odd, some may have thought it was destiny…she however, thought there had been a bad smell as soon as she had set foot back in the wretched place but she didn’t have much to say, least of all anyone she wished to share her thoughts with…until Faith arrived.
There was no smile for her baby sister, still the same old Cass. Bitter to the core but she was here for a different reason. Moon was no longer a concern of hers but she would have loved to have been the one to twist the knife, to see his eyes dim as death overshadowed. It was that thought that caused her upper lip to curl, a half sneer, half smile of ever there was one. She was not hiding, not by a long shot, perhaps faith hadn’t looked hard enough. She merely slipped out of the shadows, tucking her dagger back into place.
“I’m not staying” she hadn’t even looked at Faith, far more focused on the castle she knew which lay beyond the Grove. It had once been a safe haven, a place filled with love and laughter…the more she thought on it the more bitter she became. However, her reason for being here was her own business. “Just something I need to do before I go back” she planned to go back to Earth. The living arrangement she and Alex had, had so far had suited them both and she preferred it there. There was no history other than that she made for herself, there was no drama other than that which she and Alex created for themselves. It was peaceful, it was different and she had begun to know what life was…She did not plan to remain here and rot away like all the rest.
Her cold grey gaze did fall then upon her baby sister and she surveyed what she saw of the dark, brooding angel within the safety of her own oak. “You look pale. You been feeding enough?” a strange concern from Cass? Perhaps it was just common sense. If faith wanted her pound of flesh from Moon then she’d be no good to anyone if she was under par. Perhaps she was goading far enough o receive a reaction. Who knew with Cass?
As things stood, the quiet, the tranquillity of the place was all rather disconcerting. Was this the breath before the scream?

Indeed nestled comfortably within her Oak, Faith would watch as Cass slipped from the Shadows, allowing her piercing gaze to travel over her sister slowly. She looked well enough. Goody for her. Smirking, her body would shift slightly, allowing her to drop to the mossy ground as silent as a cat, wings tucking to her back tightly as arms crossed and she leaned against her tree, staring at Cass.
" Looks like the life of a Domestic Goddess is suiting you well dear sister. When you gunna start spewing out little spawn?"
A dig, but she couldn't help it. She knew more then likely Cass would either ignore her completely or come up with some snide remark to counter-attack. So it was with these two siblings. Was it family love? So hard to tell really. But of the entire GreySeerer clan, these two seemed the most alike. Faith would scowl a bit as she listened to Cass saying she wasn't staying, loft a brow as her sister looked towards the crumbling Castle that was once home. She would even blink as she was asked about her feeding regiment, pursing her lips a bit as she pushed off the tree, came alongside Cass to gaze off towards Castle GreySeerer as well.
" No I haven't. I figure what's the point really. I manage. So what are you looking for? Why won't you stay? How could you pass up seeing Pop again? I mean come on.. I'm sure he'd simply -love- to see his baby girls again. Let alone see Hope. She's a fucking Hero now, didn't you know that? Gotta give congrats and all that shit I figure. Pin a medal into..I mean on.. her chest.. yeah.."
She was rambling and she knew it, but really, it was normal. She was far from nervous, it was just her way. Could she admit she was glad to see Cass? Yes, to herself, even if grudgingly. Faith was entirely alone, and in truth, it was starting to grate on her nerves. She was actually.. lonely. Though she'd never admit it. Her head would turn to gaze at Cass, raven curls sweeping over jade hues, actually plucking a feather from her own wing to place it into Cass' hair. Saying nothing as she looked upon her sister for a few moments before turning her attention once again to the Castle, lifting her chin, crossing her arms over her leather bound chest once again. No emotion here.. nope, nope. Never.
" Hey, if you're looking for something maybe I can help you find it. Not like I have anything to do at the moment. Moon can wait a bit, I'm sure all he gives a fuck about is Hope anyway.. she was always his favorite.."

For the most part Faith was ignored, her little digs and jibes about the way she lived…it was all brushed off like water off a duck’s back. Her sights were firmly set upon the castle she had once known as home. She relived so many things from a past she wanted no part of any more.
Unconsciously fingers strayed over the intricately jewelled handle of the dagger she had planned to use. Yes, once her business here was done she’d not look back as she walked away. Did she feel for Faith at all? Perhaps there was a twang of compassion for her little sister but she had her own choices to make too. Those cool grey eyes shifted to take in the Dark Angel approaching and she even frowned and batted Faith away as that feather was settled within her hair…though she did not remove it.
“Don’t worry Faithy. I plan to see Dear ol’ Dad before I leave” a tight smile offered. She gave so little away. Thoughts of Hope were met with a sneer, there were many things she could say about that one but her lips remained sealed and her thoughts her own. Did she miss her Angel? In truth, she held nothing but contempt for he now. She should have come back, she should have at least tried. This was all Cass’s twisted insight, and despite knowing she was so wrong, she was too bitter to see past it all. Soon enough it wouldnt matter any more, she’d not be here. Hope and the rest could live their own lives…she had made a decision and she was going to stick with it. Thus was her resolve.
The glance back to the Twin oak that had once been so close…no separated beyond all recognition was met with nothing. Emotion was vacant, she couldn’t afford them here, not now…so it was only a glance before she turned back to Faith. No more than a shrug said all she felt she had to say…but while her little sister rambled away she merely strode forward. Toward the place she planned never to visit again…still even she knew all the best laid plans could collapse around her. Silent desires and hopes.
“Come on, sooner we get this over with the better”
The ache in her chest betrayed everything she had tried to do. The emotion she controlled so well still managed to feel like a knife being twisted in her gut. No matter how hard she fought, Cass did feel, she merely refused to let it show…she’d have been accused of being weak, therefore it was a deep breath and determination forged from steel she continued on. She had to.

Faith could feel Cass, perhaps more then either she or her sister ever could or would admit. How interesting really, that it ended up that she and Cass were so much alike now. Their pasts, though different, still ending up the same when it came to inner turmoil. They had both lost their Angels, and didn't it work out so well? They were both so shut off from emotion now that it would be amazing if either would get it back. Faith could sense, though only dimly, that somewhere.. out there.. Cass had found an outlet. Lucky Bitch.
The barest smile would curl her lips as she noted that Cass didn't take out the feather placed within raven locks. At any other time Faith might have taken the opportunity to dig more, throw out a "you like meeee" jibe.. but not now. Not as she watched Cass, watched the way her sister was staring at the Castle. At what used to be Home. Cass had plans. What those plans were Faith had no clue, and she didn't ask. She could tell so easily that Cass wouldn't remain when everything was said and done. The one family member she felt even the smallest inkling of 'closeness' with would go away again. This and this alone would allow Faith to remain cold and aloof. But in the same breath, for this duration, for whatever fight came their way, Faith would stand at Cass' side. Moon was back, Hope was surely lost, and who was left to carry on the GreySeerer Glory? If it had to be just Faith, then by fuck she'd die doing it. It might be some jacked up, whacked out sorta Glory, but it'd be Glory all the gahdamn same. Write this shit down in some books somewhere..
She would say nothing as Cass mumbled about "getting it over with". She would simply nod, her jaw tight, her sword arm ready. Glorious wings would tuck tight to her body as chrome buckles and zippers oddly managed to silence along with her boot steps. Paces began towards Castle GreySeerer, jade hues flaring bright as she took in the sight of what was once such a majestic place. Following Cass, not knowing what the future would bring, and not giving a fuck either. All that mattered was that one way or another, dear old Dad would get what was coming to him. Oh, Faith had been waiting a long damn time for this..
